S01E06 - Familial Part 1

A warning about keeping their noses to themselves arrives at Dr. Osborn's lab, along with a gift that triggers a memory in Rose: an unwelcome and volatile blast from the past. Ruby makes a connection between the gift and a previous haunt. After asking about the preciously guarded book that was missing when her mentor died, Ambrosia receives an oddly coded message that points to danger in the Chicago Public Library archives. Millie eats all the pickles, and she doesn't even have to use her newfound mental powers to do it. The investigators learn much in this episode, but they may not like where it leads.


S01E07 - Familial Part 2

In the Chicago Public Library, Amby finds more questions than answers about her mentor's demise. Rose turns to her father for help with her menacing and frighteningly well-informed ex. Millie befriends a street urchin. As they brace themselves for a night of intrigue and stakeouts, death reaches out once more.


The Drop on Mooch

In this one-shot adventure, mobsters Mooch, Pete, and Marla try to carry out orders from their boss, Gaston "Shiner" Judge. They need to hunt down an expensive piece of merchandise, but finding it may cost them more than they anticipated.

S01E10 - Captive

Millie and Marty hatch a plan to rescue the other investigators, unaware that Ambrosia has been taken somewhere else to tackle an increasingly dire situation alone. Ruby gets a taste of the mob's more magical projects. Rose finally faces the music, and her father, in a painful moment of growing up.


S01E11 - Escape

Millie and Marty attempt to break into the Pella house to rescue their friends. The investigators get a glimpse at the mob's involvement with a darkness that lurks beyond this realm as time begins to run out for Ambrosia.

The investigators, now homeless, on the run, and worse for wear, deal with the fallout of their disastrous encounter with the mob.


S01E13 - Pieces

After everything, the Lovelies take a breather to recuperate and piece together what they've learned so far. They also start asking uncomfortable questions about their friend Irene and just how much she actually knows about what's going on. Marty brings them word from Ruby's friend, whose cafe is more trouble than they know.

With Ambrosia's husband in tow, the investigators sneak out of Marty's apartment and make their way to the campus morgue. There, they interrogate the guard from Papa Pella's house being held hostage, and it quickly becomes clear that not all is as it seems. Even close to home.

S01E17 - Famished Part 1

In the small amount of recovery time after the trip through the labyrinth, Amby learns more about her newfound love of water...and her compulsion to drown her husband. Millie puts her PI skills to use bribing street urchins and hears about the mob world after the explosion at the Pella Mansion. Rose's family is worse for wear after her tussle with Gaston's affairs. But more dangerous still is what Ruby encounters once she's been left alone in the medical building on campus.

S01E18 - Famished Part 2

The Lovelies meet up with Willy, their captive mobster, in the morgue of the UIC medical building. There, he introduces them to a body that died from what seemed to be exposure in otherwise temperate weather. The body also has the same half-dollar sized bruises as the one on Ruby's forehead. Things scurry at the edge of their sight, fleeting but persistent.

The Lovelies rescue a student from the clutches of a pair of rats with spears as well as pants. Their encounter with these weaponized rodents leaves them wondering not just how they got there, but who made them and to what end. The answers may be more than they bargained for as they catch a larger group of the creatures unawares.

It quickly becomes clear that the investigators opened the door for more than what they bargained for when using the symbol found in the franken-rats' sacrificial chamber to open a portal.
